Being gluten-free we are more limited in what crunchy gluten-free ingredients we can add to the Chex mix. No oyster crackers, goldfish, bugles or cheez its for us. My gluten-free recipe uses gluten-free ingredients like rice and honey Chex mix, pretzels (both sticks and pretzel shape), donut shaped oat cereal, puffed star crackers and smiley face cheese creackers. I hope you try my Chex mix recipe and enjoy it as much as we are.

You can spice up this gluten-free cheesy ranch Chex mix by adding hot sauce or buffalo hot sauce to the butter mixture. I’d use between 1/4-1/3 cup buffalo sauce depending on your spice level.
