  5. Increase speed to medium and beat until you have a smooth batter.
  6. Pour batter into lined pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove and top with chocolate chips. Once melted spread the chocolate evenly over the brownies.
  9. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
  10. Let cool completely before cutting.
