These homemade gluten-free baked donuts are soft and cakey and are dusted with a cinnamon sugar coating. Cinnamon sugar donuts that are a baked version of the classic and are gluten-free and easy to make.
I think the baked version is just as good as the typical deep-fried ones. Baking donuts is so much easier and healthier than deep-frying them. Gluten-free cinnamon sugar donuts that are moist and delicious and use no yeast in the recipe.
These gluten-free donuts are the perfect treat to make on a weekend-or really any day of the week. So easy, and oh so good!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THE DONUTS:

- Swerve Brown Sugar Sweetener
- Avocado, Coconut or Canola Oil
- Unsweetened Apple Sauce
- Milk
- White Vinegar
- Gluten-Free Flour Blend
- Gluten-Free Baking Powder
- Cinnamon
- Swerve granular sweetener
I am not sure there isn’t anything better than the smell of freshly baked goods and cinnamon.
If you haven’t tried making baked donuts, I encourage you to give them a try. All you need is donut pans plus cooking spray. You could use silicone donut pans but I prefer the metal ones from Wilton. Use disposable icing bags and fill them with batter and pipe into the donut pans. I just cut about an 1/2 inch opening at the bottom and it is then easy to pipe the donut batter into the donut pans. Give them a light tap to tampen down batter before baking.
Now that I have made a variety of gluten-free baked donuts like hummingbird donuts, baked donuts, lemon poppyseed donuts and keto lemon donuts, I feel no need to make deep-fried ones.
