An easy to make gluten-free biscuit uses simple ingredients like my gluten-free biscuit mix. Hot biscuits are perfect with soups and stews and I love them with a dollop of cold butter on top.

Gluten-Free Biscuits

Buttery gluten-free biscuits that are easy to make, uses simple ingredients and ready in less than 30 minutes from start to finish.

  • Add biscuit mix and salt to a medium bowl and add cold butter.
  • Use a pastry blender, hand mixer or stand mixer to mix. Mixers should be on low speed.
  • Mix on low speed until mix resembles coarse sand.
  • Add milk, start with 1/2 cup and see if dough combines. Add 1/4 cup more if needed. Mix on low until dough comes together. Do not over mix.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Use an ice cream scoop to drop batter onto lined cookie sheet.
  • Use your hands to gently form dough into a ball, then press lightly to flatten a bit.
  • Bake in oven for 12-14 minutes.
  • Remove and serve while hot.
