These gluten and grain-free candy cane brownies are soft and chewy and a fun dessert for the holidays.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a 8x8 square baking pan with parchment paper
  • In a medium bowl add the oil, butter, vanilla and eggs and beat with a hand mixer well.
  • Add the coconut flour, sugar and cocoa and beat on low speed.
  • Increase speed to medium and beat until you have a smooth batter.
  • Pour batter into lined pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over brownies once out of the oven. Once melted spread chocolate evenly over brownies.
  • Sprinkle crushed candy canes over chocolate.
  • Let brownies cool competely before cutting.
