Gluten Free Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

This gluten-free sour cream chocolate cake is moist, fudgy, delicious and easy to make. Made with sour cream, melted chocolate squares, gluten-free flour and buttermilk. Don’t for get the creamy chocolate frosting on top.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl whisk the gluten free flour blend and baking soda together.
  • In a small saucepan on low heat melt the butter with the chocolate squares.
  • Stir and heat until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and cool.
  • In a small bowl add vinegar to milk unless you have buttermilk.
  • In a medium bowl add the sour cream, vanilla and sugar and mix on low speed with a hand mixer.
  • Add the egg and mix again.
  • Add alternately the flour blend and the buttermilk and turn to medium speed and beat until batter is smooth.
  • Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix until smooth.
  • Pour cake batter into the prepared baking pan and place in oven.
  • Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cool.
