Hot Beef Sandwiches


  • 3-4 beef round steaks
  • 1/2 jar pepperoncini peppers, with juice
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup beef stock
  • Buttered and toasted gluten free hamburger buns (I get mine at gf patisserie bakery in Cochrane)
  • Swiss cheese


  • Combine all ingredients in a heavy pot or dutch oven.
  • Cover and bake in a 300 degree oven for 6 hours.
  • Remove from oven and with 2 forks, completely shred all the meat.
  • Turn oven to broil.
  • Place toasted buns on a cookie sheet.
  • Top with meat and then a slice of cheese.
  • Place under broiler until cheese melts (watch closely) approx 2-3 minutes.
