Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter into a glass bowl or microwavable bowl.
Microwave for a minute and stir.
Microwave again for a couple minutes until melted and bubbly.
Add peanut butter and vanilla and mix well.
In a medium bowl add the rice krispies, chopped peanuts and salt and stir.
Pour melted mixture over krispies and sti well.
Press into a parchment lined 8 x 8 square pan.
Melt in microwave the topping ingredients (peanut butter and chocolate chips).
Spread the topping onto the base.
Refrigerate for at least an hour.
Slice and serve.
