Ingredients

chopped tomatoes (28 oz)

tomato paste (small)

large onion chopped

cup
red vinegar
1/2
cup
sugar
1/2
cup
olive oil

heaping tsp
nutmeg
1/8
tsp
allspice
2
bay leaves
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Pour everything into a saucepot and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Continue cooking until the mixture reduces by half, about 45 minutes.
Puree until smooth with an immersion blender or food processor.
