Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
In a small bowl add gf flour, baking powder and dried vanilla powder and whisk together.
In a medium bowl add the butter and sugar and beat well.
Add the eggs and beat well again.
Add the dry ingredients and the applesauce, oil and buttermilk and beat on low speed. Increase speed to medium and beat until you have a smooth batter.
Pour batter into lined square pan.
Bake for 35-38 minutes.
Remove and cool.
