In July when I was in Seattle, snap peas were in season. Most restaurants were offering it as a side entry. At the Keg we were served a wonderful dish of snap peas and bacon. It seemed like such a simple dish to make and knew once we got home I would make it often.
Here is my version of the dish and I hope you enjoy it as much as we all do when I make it.
The ingredients are always the same: cooked bacon, snap peas, garlic, and sea salt/pepper. The amounts are completely up to you depending on how many people you are feeding. I buy the large bags of snap peas at Safeway or Costco.
This recipe is so simple:

Cut up slices of bacon and fry up. Once cooked, place cooked bacon in a separate dish and wipe frying pan out with a paper towel.
Add bacon back to frying pan, then add as many snap peas as you want. Add 1 tsp of minced garlic-and sauté until snap peas are heated up.
